AFTERCARE

After 24 hours, remove the first second skin bandage that was applied by your tattoo artist. Clean gently with warm water and mild unscented soap. Rinse with cold water and pat dry with paper towel. For best results, remove in the shower and pat dry with paper towel.

If stinging, redness, or swelling occurs, wash and wait 24 hours before reapplying.

Once the tattoo and surround area are clean and dry. Make sure the tattoo has stopped weeping. Remove white side of the backing paper on the new piece of second skin. Smooth over the second skin and then remove the last layer of backing paper. Second bandages can be worn for up to 5 days.

After the second application of the second skin, continue following your given aftercare instructions until your tattoo is fully healed.

DO NOT swim, hot tub, or soak for a minimum of 3 weeks.

DO NOT expose to direct unlight until fully healed.

DO NOT pick off or disturb scabs.
